From now on, advertising on T-Online.de is even simpler and more attractive. With the re-launch of the best-known Internet portal with the widest range* in German-speaking countries, advertisers gain completely new opportunities to integrate their campaigns. For example, the exclusive marketer, InteractiveMedia, will offer new special forms of advertising in future, such as ‘discover ad', in which the user reaches a stand-alone advertising surface in full-screen mode by clicking on a content box, or ‘banderole ad' as well as other new presentership formats. In addition to this, formats such as Super Banner or Wallpaper can from now on be booked for extensive brand advertising, and for interactive elements and video-ads.
"For our advertising customers, the relaunch of the T-Online portal means more flexibility, more stringent opportunities for booking and completely new, exciting advertising formats in an editorial quality environment", says Guido Sachs, Managing Director of InteractiveMedia. "In personal advance discussions with the large media agencies and our biggest advertising customers, we received very positive feedback on the relaunch: Everyone can identify very strongly with the new T-Online.de site. We are therefore very confident that it will help us generate additional advertising revenue and gain new advertising customers."
Favorable conditions at the start
Advertisers benefit not only from the higher degree of flexibility in special advertising formats, but also from greater stringency in the placing of standard formats: These may now be integrated via all the theme portals at a uniform price and in the same places. The previous price level is being maintained and the new formats are being launched based on standard market conditions. Furthermore, for all campaigns lasting until February 29, 2008 on the new T-Online.de site, InteractiveMedia offers a special 10-percent discount (except for the homepage). "At the start of our redesigned portal, we mainly aim to familiarize our customers with the wide range of creative advertising possibilities", says Oliver Wolde, Head of Sales. The page design also permits individual advertising concepts and variations, which InteractiveMedia and T-Online can enhance in cooperation with advertising customers, if necessary. In future, enquiries which go beyond the current IAB standards** will be dealt with more flexibly.
A modern look for the number-one portal in terms of reach
The newly shaped T-Online.de portal is distinguished above all by its technical innovation and improved usability: The central horizontal navigation is clearly structured by using different colors for the individual subject areas. Various Web 2.0 functions also ensure more interactivity, a tool-box allows direct access to e-mails, the local weather, eBay auctions or online banking. Soccer fans can also access summaries of all the matches in the German Bundesliga within a few minutes of the final whistle, in top video-streaming quality. Another innovation: From now on, the homepage can be individually configured according to users' interests - from sports results thru stock prices to lifestyle news.
